BLOCK PARTY BOOTH - Get Gardening!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Get ready to get gardening! Architects Without Borders – Seattle is excited to present the results from our recent mobile urban garden design/build competition! Urban garden beds provide access to fresh food, regardless of location and available outdoor space. These garden beds can also help eliminate food deserts in urban neighborhoods, where there is little access to fresh, healthy and affordable food. All the entry competition boards and instructions will be on display for you to learn how to build you own unique garden bed and the winners of the competition will be chosen during the festival. You can find out more info on the competition at www.awb-seattle.org/projects/get-gardening. Come see what design can do to help provide access to fresh food in our local neighborhoods and get gardening!
